Jinkies! We read a mystery and, boy, was it a doozy. There’s homicidal rage, alcoholism and then at some point, we actually got around to discussing the book.

Attica Locke’s Bluebird, Bluebird takes readers into the heart of a small rural Texas town where two murders have shaken up the local community. Listen in for a passionate discussion involving dumb criminals, court procedures and Scooby-Doo.

  1. There is something you’ve forgotten is thatDarren May be losing his job. He’s on probation. So he’s not able to be as strong as you’d like him to be. I think we’re going to see a lot more in the next novel. I really enjoyed this book because it was different from a typical mystery.

    1. I agree. As I read more about this book and Attica Locke’s plans for the series, I think I might actually really enjoy the second book. The family dynamics alone make for a pretty good story!
