Episode 3: We Love You, Charlie Freeman

We picked Kaitlyn Greenidge’s “We Love You, Charlie Freeman” thinking it would a fun absurd piece of literature. Instead, we got a tense, tragic story of a family torn apart by a monkey.

As you may have learned, we only barely ever know what we’re reading.

Episode 2: Another Brooklyn

When we picked Jacqueline Woodson’s “Another Brooklyn,” we though we we’re getting a light summer read. Boy, were we wrong. This book is quick, but it’s chock full of substance.
